The IPL auction which is going to happen in mid of February will be a Mega auction. As two more teams are are added to the list of IPL teams. The auction will become more surprising as there will be two more bidders for each player. The two new teams that are added are Lucknow in Ahmedabad. Which has made the total number of teams from 8 to10 in this IPL season.

And both of the teams have also been given a chance by authorities to choose 3 players of their choice before the auction. The authorities have also given them a budget of 33 crore rupees.
The auction will be for 2 days in the month of February. All 8 teams were not allowed to retain more than 4 players. So that makes them release the talented players into the auction pool.
