He was suffering from an injury for a long time, due to which he is not able to give his best performance. Because of injury, he has not been bowling in the last several matches. Due to this, it became very difficult for him to make a place in the Indian team as well. Apart from all these things, he has started preparing for the upcoming IPL 2022. Before the Megha auction of IPL, Gujarat Titans retained 3 players. In which the first name was Hardik Pandya, followed by Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill. All three players are masters in their respective fields. Group A will comprise Mumbai Indians Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Lucknow Supergiants. Gujarat Titans will be a part of Group B which will also include Chennai Super Kings, Sunrise Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings.
